Who is Miami Inline Marathon?
Tavis Trosen, Naomi Weinberg & Doris Casabona all met while skating. Naomi and Doris first met while skating on the trails in Miami Florida. They later met Tavis while skating the Friday night skate in Atlanta, Georgia before the legendary Athens to Atlanta 87 mile skate. The 3 continued to meet at skating events around the world and became the best kind of friends...skate friends. They also shared a need to support and grow the sport of inline skating. Tavis became a board member at the NorthShore Inline Marathon in Duluth, MN which is the largest inline marathon in North America while Naomi Weinberg & Doris Casabona are the founders and organizers of Skater Migration in Miami, which is one of the largest city skates in the world.
"Blending our love for skating and years of event organizing experience, we're thrilled about this exciting venture in Miami!"

Tavis Trosen
Tavis Trosen grew up in North Dakota, where he learned to ice skate at the age of 6 and a few years later his grandma bought him his first pair of inline skates. He has been skating in some form or another ever since. Tavis completed his first inline marathon when he was 20 years old and has been hasn’t stopped 23 years later. He usually skates 2-5 inline marathons a year and is also a USA long track ice speedskating age group national champion and currently a member of Team USA's Masters MAT1 long track team. Tavis was a NorthShore Inline Marathon board member for 3 years and is also a member of the Madison Speed Skating Club in Madision, WI USA.

Doris Casabona
Doris has been gliding through life on skates since her early days in the parks of Havana, Cuba. In 2014, Doris became a member of the @SobeRollers (South Beach skaters), and it wasn't long before she emerged as a significant leader within the group. Her enthusiasm for skating and natural leadership qualities quickly propelled her into a key role shortly thereafter. In 2017, in collaboration with the SobeRollers team, they launched The Skater Migration, which has since become one of the largest recreational skate events in the United States. In her role as a Rollerblade ambassador, her passion for skating and commitment to an active lifestyle have contributed to the creation of a more expansive skate community in south Florida, extending beyond local boundaries to encompass a global reach. Doris can be spotted either taking the lead in a night skate or guiding a group towards a skating competition.
